The mission of 3 Strands Shop is to provide sustainable employment opportunities and funding to support survivors of human trafficking, offering freedom and hope for a new future. 3 Strands Shop sells and distributes products made by survivors of human trafficking and artisans in at-risk communities around the world including Haiti, Nepal, Cambodia, Vietnam, India, Romania, East Africa and the U.S.

Our History
3 Strands Shop was founded in 2011 and started with work in Cambodia, in partnership with a nonprofit organization dedicated to prevention, rescue, restoration and reintegration initiatives. In addition to our global products we sell and distribute, 3 Strands Shop works with partner companies and nonprofits committed to the fight against human trafficking in the U.S.
Giving Back
In addition to providing employment opportunities, 3 Strands Shop donates a portion of profits to qualified nonprofits engaged in anti-human trafficking initiatives and organizations who support at-risk communities around the world.
Why the Red Seed?
Cambodia’s Sandalwood tree produces a colorless pod that dries up and falls to the ground. Inside each pod is a brilliant, glossy red seed, hidden unless it is freed from its shell.
To the young people we support, the red seed represents the beauty inside every survivor, and those waiting to be rescued. Many of our signature 3 Strands Shop products from Cambodia feature this red seed, a red bead or red mark symbolizing the red seed.
